Ancelotti is Urged to Shopping New Strikers
Chelsea’s players reportedly asked Carlo Ancelotti coach to change his decision which not want to jump on the upcoming January transfer market. Daily Mail reported there was upset in the dressing room because Ancelotti was not interested in bringing a new striker, though the squad will lose Didier Drogba & Salomon Kalou to strengthen Ivory Coast in African Nation Cup. Meanwhile, Nicolas Anelka was hamstring injury.
Previously, Ancelotti was reportedly more interested in giving credence to the two young striker, Daniel Sturridge and Fabio Borini. Both are considered worthy to fill the place left by Drogba, Anelka and Kalou. Petr Cech goalkeeper is known to voice his opinion to Ancelotti. “For us, Drogba, Salomon Kalou, Michael Essien, and Jan Obi Mikel were very important,” said Cech. In the meantime, Ancelotti is very optimistic to the ability of his young players.
Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich was not too much to interfere in the affairs of purchase some players. He only provides £50 millions to spend, and Ancelotti could use it to buy one or two players. Chelsea’s rivals, Manchester United and Arsenal were also reportedly will not be active to shop some new players in next January 2010.
