LG Lotus DTV, QWERTY Mobile Phone With Digital TV
The started opening of CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in 2010, from 7 to 10 January, LG and Samsung Electronics in collaboration with North American Mobile Digital TV (ATSC-M / H) technology in North North America will offer standard digital broadcasting in accordance with the agreement of ATSC (Advanced Television Standards Committee) last October 2009. LG Lotus handset, which has ever released in October 2008 by Sprint, have now been upgraded with a DTV (Digital TV) chip and announced back to North America area, along with the recent release of a DVD player typed LG DP570MH.
LG DP570MH portable DVD player is equipped with fast picture feature layout of the city, mountains and underground, and capable of receiving high-definition digital TV and DVD. LG DP570MH used LG2160A ATSC-M/H chip is also used by Dell, Kenwood and Hyundai Kia Motors. While LG Lotus DTV also support with standard ATSC-M / H and has an external TV car antenna, LG Lotus phone has in common with the original mobile phone, that’s the internal QVGA display display feature, QWERTY keypad, 2 megapixel camera, and microSD card slot.
LG Lotus DTV mobile phone can broadcast digital TV in a small size device, which broadcast the signal from the video terminal, audio, and data signals are processed by each chip of LG digital TV susinchip. In addition, in 2010, LG Electronics will work with mobile phone operators / carriers in North America and actively promote the commercialization of mobile phones for the mobile TV market.
